If you live in Montreal, you are probably well aware of the popularity of Longchamp’s Le Pliage bag – every age group, from little girls to older woman can be seen carrying this classic bag. Not only is this bag classic, but it is nearly indestructable, making it a staple of most McGill girls wardrobe (I swear, you could put a pile of bricks inside the bag and the handles would never break). I picked up this wallet-friendly bag (the model I have costs about $110) at Ogilvy’s, the exclusive retailer of Longchamp in Montreal, back in mid-May and have been using it regularly since then. I’m not one to always match her shoes to her bag, but I had to upon realizing that the taupe of the bag exactly matched the taupe of my Zara booties.

If you’ve been following my blog regularly over the past month, you can probably notice an influx of vintage jewelry. I recently discovered a little gem of a vintage store, where I’ve been finding beautiful, authentic vintage necklaces and bracelets for great prices. The necklace I’m wearing in this post is just one example of these new pieces – I couldn’t resist purchasing this specific necklace because it contains fine gold and silver chains, which match my Michael Kors watch that I wear just about everyday. I love the idea of owning a piece of jewelry that contains both gold and silver, so I’m thrilled that I now have a watch and necklace that embody that design.
