Fourth-year in university – it’s the year everyone hates, the year to really buckle down, the one everyone always talks about as sucking the very essence of your humanity from you. I’m not even a month into school and I already feel that way, hence the lack of outfit posts over the last two weeks. It’s a real travesty, because fall weather is the most inspiring to me, it’s almost like “how many different tops can I wear without looking like a hobo, or Mary-Kate Olsen”. Before running off to 6 hours of non-stop classes, I managed to take a few pictures of my latest take at fall fashion. While it’s true that I nixed the Balenciaga bag in favour of my favourite schoolbag, the rest of the outfit was perfect for having my personal space violated in super-cramped classrooms. As someone who is perennially cold, I’m a big fan of layering lots of wool and cashmere, whether they’re in the form of scarves, sweaters, dresses, etc. Even though I’m completely terrified of this semester, I’m almost excited for October and November to roll around so I can really get my layering juices flowing.
