Lucite and leather…it’s the material of strippers and fetish enthusiasts but can definitely be worn by anyone during the day time, so long as it’s arranged correctly. Surprisingly, those shorts aren’t even made out of leather – they’re made out of an excellent synthetic Japanese fabric that feels EXACTLY like leather and looks very realistic (compare the genuine leather of my Balenciaga bag to the texture of the shorts).
Of course, the hallmark of this outfit lies in my Marni for H&M lucite earrings that I’ve been dying to wear for days since they arrived in the mail. I’ve never had more compliments on an accessory than I did in wearing these beauties out and around Montreal.
