Only in Canada would someone be happy for the return of temperatures that flutter several degrees around the freezing point. Sadly, this is what constitutes spring for most of this great country. While this weather would make most people weep, I’m thrilled at the thought of piling on as many layers as I can. Natural fibres like wool, cashmere and leather provide the ultimate shield against cool weather by blocking the wind and keeping you warm. For the first time ever, I’m wearing something from Lululemon, a Canadian yoga/lifestyle retailer that specializes in workout clothes. I fell in love with their super-long, drapey t-shirts in a variety of colours that I find personally to be of a much higher quality than those I’ve bought from T by Alexander Wang and Aritzia. I think I’ve found a new wardrobe staple.
Be sure to follow “I Bleed Fashion” on Twitter or Facebook to get all the updates on World MasterCard Fashion Week from March 12th-17th in Toronto! This is the first time I am attending the event and I hope to bring you lots of pictures and details about all the shows and what everyone is wearing.
