If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you can tell how old these pictures are, given my recent photos of Montreal’s beautiful orange and red foliage. These outfit photos got lost amongst all of the events I attended recently, like the Topshop launch, the reopening of “The Backroom“, and my posts from back home (you can see them here, here and here). This week was particularly difficult academically, with huge percentages of my grades being determined by examinations and papers. Rest assured, I’m not leaving the blog world – in fact, things couldn’t be more prosperous and exciting in regards to the future of “I Bleed Fashion” these days. I never like confirming any future plans until they’re set in stone, so there are no announcements, as of yet to speak of.
As for this outfit, I guess my trip to England had a lasting impression on my style – I’ve been especially loving my trench coat and anything plaid quite a lot this fall. Given the cooler weather of the fall, layering this Stylestalker with a trench coat seemed like a natural pairing, and a way to get away from the hipster, edgy style I find myself falling into quite often. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I like putting on a dress and something non-leather and feeling more like a lady.
