Is it weird that I’m currently sitting in a hotel room in Toronto and already missing these gorgeous Jeffrey Campbell Edea booties? Maybe, but I warned you in a previous post that you hadn’t seen the last of these beauties. I’ve been having so much fun finding new ways to wear these deadly looking shoes, and these photos are my latest attempt at incorporating them into an outfit. I wanted to try something less edgy – something with more colour and patterns, and this look was the final product. I’m a bit sad, as one of the studs has already fallen off, but I guess that is to be expected given that they’ve been on my feet almost every moment up until this weekend.
As much as I love Toronto (for very different reasons than I like Montreal), I can’t wait to come back tomorrow night. I came to Toronto to attend an industry networking event, and I’ve met so many amazing professionals from the industry, as well as others who are trying to break into it as well. I was lucky enough to have my event end early, so I hit up Queen Street West – I would dare to say it is better than Boulevard Saint-Laurent. Don’t worry, I’m not defecting to the dark side (as Montrealers often view Toronto) – I’m hanging around for at least another year. Stay tuned for an article or two on my weekend in the city!
