Long before I discovered my beloved Jeffrey Campbell Edea Sneakers, I found my first pair of spiked lovelies for $20 at Urban Behaviour. I was tempted not to purchase them because let’s face it: spikes AND snakeskin AND super high heels? To me, they just screamed tacky upon laying my eyes on them, but like many clothes and accessories that I purchase, I was tempted to see how I could style it to reflect my own personal tastes. I actually took these photos over a month ago, but they ended up getting lost among all of my other posts I’ve been working on since then. I savour these slightly cool days in the summer when I can wear a pair of jeans without dying of heat exhaustion – but sadly, Montreal hasn’t seen much of those days in a long time. Of course, it is still summer so I decided to balance out the look with one of my favourite, light silk tops from Aritzia. I’m off to two events tomorrow, so expect another story and outfit post about both later this week!
