Parc Jean-Drapeau is without a doubt one of Montreal’s must-visit attractions. Located in between the island of Montreal and the South Shore, it is often home to many events, including this past weekend’s Formula One Grand Prix Race (the only North American stop of the franchise), and the infamous Osheaga music festival in August.  Even though I didn’t have a ticket for the Formula One race, I enjoyed wandering around the park on this particularly lazy Saturday that afforded Montrealers fantastic summer weather. The best part of the day was certainly finding this little, picturesque stream in the park – it was so refreshing to sit next to the waterfall on a day where temperatures pushed into the mid-30s. Because I knew I would be walking around a lot, I opted for a light, 100% silk tank from Aritzia and my trusty $15 H&M flats that can handle anything. I know this a rather picture-heavy post, but I couldn’t resist posting some of the beautiful pictures I was able to capture of Montreal from the island. I will be going to Ottawa this weekend, so you can be sure to see lots of Instagram photos while I’m there and a post filled with pictures sometime next week.
