I first heard about Stylestalker from another Canadian blogger, who posted a link to the spring collection on Twitter in March. I was extremely interested upon clicking on this link and finding a collection of clothes that seemed to be made FOR me – lots of leather, embellishments, sequins, and unique designs. I debated about purchasing this Stylestalker “Currency” dress for a few weeks before finally taking the dive and ordering it from Asos two weeks ago. I’m pretty sure my behaviour was reminiscent of a child on Christmas morning when I saw the package at my door, as I furiously ripped open the package and tried on my new dress. I’m extremely happy with my new purchase, and decided to pair it with a pair of boots from Zara I just haven’t found anything to go with. As someone who has trouble embracing the middle ground in all areas of life, most of my shoe closet consists of flats or super-high (read: 4 inches or above) heels, I’m purchasing more low-heel shoes to save my feet for the future. Finally, to top off the outfit, I complimented my favourite Alexander Wang “Rocco” bag with a rose-gold watch from Asos.
