The Calm Before the Storm…

Not only has it been literally storming since last night here in Montreal, but another type of storm is brewing: Montreal Fashion Week begins tomorrow (well, technically today as it’s nearly 2 AM now) and runs from September 6th – 9th. It’s going to be a jam-packed week with many fashion shows and a lot of writing on my part. As for today’s look, it was mostly spent inside working on homework and preparing for this upcoming week. I personally don’t like jeggings because I feel as if they look TOO MUCH like leggings and not enough like a real, structured pant. What is your take on jeggings? Do you own any? Do you prefer them to pants, or do you feel the same way as I do? Since the weather became much cooler today, I decided to delve into my closet of blazers and choose this bright fuschia colour to brighten up my day amongst this grey, rainy weather. I also recently re-discovered this Zara silver belt, which I purchased in Italy a couple of summers ago. Most of the time when I would wear it with pants, a shirt would cover it, so I never really showed it off. Today, I finally found that wearing it with an all black ensemble underneath my blazer and tucking in my shirt was the best way to let it shine
